| Epilogue. This website is dedicated to my father, who died on July 1st, 2003. The handcraft shown here, which he produced over the years, is too good to store away.He had lots of enjoyment making it, that I feel I want to show it on my website. Unfortunately I can only show part of his collection, because through the years lots of carts have been sold or ended up in musea Most of the carts have been made out of old beds, oak chairs and tables.
This
is the first cart that my father put together and he made that of the boards of
an old kitchen cupboard that came from my parental home. What his eyes took in,
his hands could produce. |
